Chapter 1
Lia is the youngest in our family. I, Maddison, think it is not fair that I always get in trouble for what Lia does. Today, Lia pushed me down the stairs. It really hurt me! I said " Lia! Why did you do that!" Lia is 5 and acted like a 2 year old and cried! And guess who got in trouble . MMMMEEEEE!!!! You know, I think I will write a sentence in my dairy about this till the school bus comes. Dear Diary, Lia is such a pest! Just then the bus came. I hopped inside and the bus driver gave me a lollipop just like he normally does . Suddenly, I noticed my enemy, Jessie was on the bus. Someone must have invited her because she is normally not on my bus. I still don't know why we don't get along.
Chapter 2
The teacher, Mrs. Lendenster said that tomorrow we had to bring to school someone in our family. I asked her if I could bring in my dog, Chester and she said " NO!" My mom and dad were busy which meant I had to bring Lia in to school! I won't have friends if Lia comes! At recess, I decided to write a sentence or two in my diary. Dear Diary, I am going to have to bring Lia to school tomorrow. I am so sad! For the rest of recess I was thinking how bad it would be.
Chapter 3
Today morning, both my sister and I got on the bus. Surprisingly, everyone admired Lia. I told the class about Lia and got an A+ with a smiley face next to it. After lunch, Jessie came over to me and asked," Maddy, can I come to your house to play?" " Sure" I replied, but I was really confused. " Why would Jessie want to have a play date with me?" I yelled once I got home. After a few minutes, I heard the door bell ring. I answered the door. I came to see myself standing face to face with Jessie. We talked and played all day!!!! When Jessie was about to leave, she said, " Maddy, your sister made me want to come here. She was adourble and kind so, I wanted to Know you better to see if you were kind too. Today, I found out you are a really kind girl. Can we be BFF'S? " I'd love to! " I said.
Chapter 4
After dinner, I went over to Lia. I tapped her shoulder and she looked up from her book. I said " You know Lia, you're not so bad of a pest." Lia giggled. " That's the nicest thing you've ever said to me!" Then, she gave me a great, big bear hug. Ever since then, Lia and I have been getting along and so have me and Jessie.
